Buckwheat is wonderful for our friendly pollinators; the bees and has origins in Asian, Europe, and The United States.

Against the Grain Farms is the only farm in Ontario growing this unique variety of Buckwheat known as Tartary. It was first brought to Northern USA from France where it has been grown on small family farms since the 1800's.
